YAD has been a part of the world since 2016. For a decade, we’ve been building, creating, and sharing colors. But recently, we realized that even the most beautiful chaos needs a home that honors it.
We decided to reorganize everything—from the way the site looks to how it feels and functions.
It wasn't just about a new "design." It was about reconnecting with our purpose.
When a system grows for ten years, it often becomes cluttered. We add a button here, a category there, until the original light gets dimmed by the noise. We realized that by trying to offer "everything," we were making it harder for you to find the "one thing" that truly speaks to you.
To fix this, we entered a long process that lasted nearly a year. During this time, we chose to stop creating new things. Instead, we focused entirely on how to do what we do better and simpler.
This new version of YAD isn't built for algorithms. We didn't design it to make you click more. We designed it to respect your time and attention.
We’ve stripped away the extra layers. We’ve simplified the choices. We chose to focus on doing a few things right rather than doing many things halfway. By being more thoughtful about what we create, we’ve ensured that what’s left is exactly what needs to be here.
This isn't just a website update. It’s our way of saying that we value your light. We’ve cleaned the house so that when you enter, you can finally see the colors for what they truly are.

Stop Dimming Your Light
For as long as I can remember my first independent thought, it hasn't changed... Why?
Why can’t we roll in the grass, hugging our dog? Why can’t we smear ourselves with paint—our whole body, even our face? Why can’t we laugh at everything?
Why can’t we run through puddles and get soaked to the bone? Why can’t we just be silly? Why can’t we wear whatever we want? What even is a "uniform"?
Uniform for what exactly...? Why can’t we dance like there’s no tomorrow? Like no one is watching?
Whatever the interests of the people around us are—trying to box us into structured patterns that are convenient for them... I say: Be who you want to be. Be what makes you feel good. We have one short round in the playground of life; there’s no point wasting it on anything but what makes us truly happy.

March 2026 — It is not simple to be simple.
The Unbearable Weight of Complexity
Every few years, we find ourselves returning to India to reconnect with our inspiration. We are back here now, on a journey through a place where complexity and simplicity dance together in every corner.
It’s a common trap to think that "more" is always better. More noise, more layers, more distractions. We’ve been trained to believe that if something is simple, it must have been easy to create.
But as we walk through the streets here, we realize the truth: It is not simple to be simple.
Being "simple" means having the courage to strip away the masks, the uniforms, and the expectations of a "perfect order." It means having the courage to be just us.
In the long run, staying true to who you are is much more powerful than trying to force yourself to be something else. When you focus on your own truth, you don't need to struggle to be noticed. You just exist, authentically.
Returning to our original, willful sources isn't a step backward. It’s a leap toward the only thing that actually lasts: The feeling that you’ve finally found something real.
We are learning that the most honest way to show up in the world is to allow your true light to shine through, without all the noise.
It’s hard work to stay this simple. But it’s the only work worth doing.

I work in aged care homes and they absolutely love my boots every day I have the peacock 🦚 boots and the happy floral boots they bring so much joy to everyone that sees them.
Love love love them! ❤️ I’m a florist and bought one for myself and one for the Boss (who is pictured) and we wear them at work. So many great comments and we both have passed the website details onto many others. (Might need a commission 😁). Very comfy to wear all day. True to size.

Ordered these after a friend wore some and I loved them. My wild flower shoes go perfectly with my wild leggings! I love the bright colors! The perfect find that I can wear in damp weather and brighten up my little portion of the world. ;-) I see another pair I love and will be ordering those too!

I have over 30 pair of boots from this company , never disappoints, lovely colours and designs, very comfortable, get lots of comments about them when out.
My first purchase of this design, as a change from the Happy Spiral rainbow pattern (I bought both, taking advantage of the 2-4-1 offer). These arrived just before a 3 day trip to New York and they got a hard start in life, pounding miles round Manhattan. They are super comfortable and fit right in with my rainbow wardrobe!
This is my second pair of these trainers, having literally worn my first pair into holes! They did well to withstand 3 years hard wear!
I have shallow/narrow/long feet, so although I need a size 9/43 for length, I always end up needing an insole for depth. Laces mean I can get a good snug, comfortable fit (I do have a pair of the slip-ons as well but they are just too roomy).
These and the checked pair that came as part of a buy-one-get-one-free deal arrived just before my first trip to New York. In 3 days we walked more than I usually would in 3 weeks! The picture shows me outside 'Carrie Bradshaw's apartment (the shoe queen!) after several solid hours walking round Manhattan.
It's noticeable that these shoes catch people's attention (I have the boots in this pattern too). I've had so many comments and compliments about them, and I love that they make people smile.
I love “ your Amazing” products. I bought my first boots about 7 years ago and they are still going strong. They are well made. Fit perfect ( to size) and are very comfortable. I turn 60 in 2023 and am determined not to dress or act my age. Your amazing boots finish my “60 and Young” outfit off wonderfully.

I bought my 74-year-old mother a spring gift. Because of the Corona virus, I couldn't reach her and install this wonderful car cover myself. So she, after watching the tutorial video, installed them herself in 3 minutes! And she loves them so much and they make her very happy, especially these days. Wishing everyone good days. My second pair of boots because I just couldn’t decide which ones to have. Again I changed the laces simply because I love bright coloured laces. The boots fit as expected , are extremely comfortable and I love the colours.
